What is Reclamation about? I’m glad you asked.
What if the world was destroyed by an apocalypse? Could we rebuild and be who we once were?
At twenty-three, all Adelaide has ever known is a society ripped apart by the virus. Though billions died, the freshly-minted Cure is bringing the world back into balance and for once, she can think about moving out and falling in love, and not just about surviving. Meanwhile her dad, Jack, is fighting his fear of an empty nest and when the village mayor invites him to head up security, he can’t think of a good reason to turn it down.
But infected appearing in the village and a series of murders is only the beginning of their problems. If Addy wants to seek out the life she’s fought her whole life for, she’s going to have to save her dad from forces bigger than both of them and face her fear of everything but zombies. And if she can’t, both the Cure and her family could be laid to ruin.
The first part of a trilogy, Reclamation is for people who love character-driven literary sci-fi like Station Eleven, coming of age stories like The Last of Us, and a healthy splash of adventure mixed with romance. With zombies!
